Cranial – relating to the cranium, which houses the brain – the mediator of consciousness.
Fluid – both the cerebral spinal and extracellular fluid found throughout the body, whose inherent rhythm provides a medium for palpation and ultimately illuminates that which is hidden.
Dynamics – an awareness of the forces that alter the cranial rhythm, thereby creating the possibility for change.
Cranial Fluid Dynamics (CFD), is a gentle form of cranial therapy founded by Dr. Solihin Thom, who further expands William Sutherland’s and John Upledger’s work by introducing the idea that it is human consciousness that governs structures, and ultimately alters the function of the human being, creating states of dysfunction and disease.
is great for pain, a large range of illnesses and dysfunction, emotional imbalances, lifestyle challenges, mental afflictions, and more through this groundbreaking process.
The cranial system assists our:
Nervous System, Musculoskeletal system, Circulatory System, Lymphatic System, Endocrine System, Respiratory System, Digestive System, Electromagnetic System.
Many osteopaths recognize that external forces impose themselves upon the human body and the underlying fluid body, causing illness and dysfunction. Structure governs function; however, “forces” govern everything and impose their will upon the structures.
A simple example would be how a person holds their posture when they wear a purse or satchel over their shoulder. That bag exerts a force that the body needs to overcome or balance, causing a fundamental change in how the person carries themselves. A practitioner could provide a treatment, but unless they stop carrying that bag every day to the office, or change the way they are carrying that bag, the external force will remain and it will return to its old compensation pattern.
You may change the structure time and again, but unless the underlying forces are dealt with, the pattern returns. It is advantageous to tend to causal effects of the unseen that press quietly and constantly upon the body, until the organism becomes disorganized, causing illness.
Cranial Fluid Dynamics views health as an emergent process: the totality of the human being, and the role of the life forces in bringing us to our present state. Our state of consciousness that alters neurology and structure. When applied, this unique approach provides tools (hand mudras and muscle testing from (InnerDialogue) for self-exploration, self-actualization and sustainable transformation. The outcome is to enhance your potential for in-depth healing, a more flexible fluid lifestyle, cultivate surrender and to create an endless opportunity for personal emergence.
A Cranial Fluid Dynamics process includes:
A detailed write up from a 90 minute consultation, sent by email, and after 2 days, a 10 min. follow up phone call - to check in, answer any questions and oversee the progress.

“In every tissue (bones, viscera, muscle, dura, fluid, ventricles, etc.) memory is recorded and saved. Physical memory (stroke, shock, injury, birth) as well as emotional, psychological and archetypal memory. I ‘listen with my hands’ until the body’s story is told and it releases its stuck pattern. Healing happens by itself, it only needs to be activated.” ~David Isa Rosas

"As a Cranial Fluid Dynamics practitioner, I become a translator who listens to the body's signals (symptoms, dis-ease, challenges, limitations) and from a place of surrender explain what's going on. Through gaining understanding great opportunities for solutions and resolution can be brought to light." ~David Isa Rosas
